United Phosphorus, Inc. to establish operations in Williamsburg County

United Phosphorus, Inc. (UPI), a manufacturing company specializing in chemical blending operations, plans to establish a new industrial operation in Williamsburg County. The company plans to invest more than $20 million in the project and create 65 new jobs over the next several years.

Worksman Cycles establishing Horry County operations

Worksman Cycles, a manufacturer of heavy-duty bicycles and tricycles as well as food vending trucks and carts, is establishing operations in Horry County. The company is investing $2.5 million in the facility, creating approximately 50 new jobs in Conway, S.C.

Otis Elevator announces expansion in Florence

McCall Farms expanding Florence County operations

McCall Farms, the South Carolina-based manufacturers of Margaret Holmes, Glory Foods, Peanut Patch Boiled Peanuts and Bruce's Yams, is expanding its existing Florence County operations with a new, state-of-the-art production facility. The $4 million investment is expected to generate 25 new jobs in Effingham over the next five years.
